Might: 5- rock throw

Strainpoints: 6
Lifepoints: 6
Relations: 3- Dandon McGaven (best friend), 2- home, 1 - construction
Description of talents:
Sand swarm (3 accuracy) : This power actually requires there to be a fair amount of sand, gravel or other fine rocky debris. A GM might rule that this power can still be used without the environmental requirements if a strainpoint is expended.
While this power can be used as an attack, scouring sensitive areas of opponents with gusting swirls of sand, it can also be used to swirl clouds of sand into the air to temporarily block sight or similar creative actions. In one case, where there was a large supply of sand at hand, a strainpoint was used to bury an opponent.
Solid merge (4 mobility): Granite uses solid merge to meld himself into rock. Entering solid natural stone and moving throughout is easy and requires no roll; movement is slower than wading through deep water. Attempting to pass through worked stone - be it a mortared wall, cement or the more difficult brick requires a roll appropriate to the substance. If the substance has already been described the GM should set a threshold of success appropriate to the substance. Otherwise the GM and player can roll opposed checks (3 dice for the GM is reasonable in most circumstances) and narrate the substance as befits the results.
Rock Throw (5- might):The Granite’s signature move is to hurl a rock with bone crushing force. The damage is nearly as often caused by ricochets and being showered by exploding fragments of nearby objects as from direct hits. The rocks hurled range from palm sized, to bricks, to medicine ball sized chunks of cement. The question of whether The Granite can actually create rocks for this purpose, or if he has several on his person and acquires more from the terrain is relatively moot: regardless of the source, he always seems to have a ready supply of projectiles.
Crystal Calm (2-mind): The Granite’s mind is surprisingly more difficult to influence or excite then average.
Construction (2 -mind): Hardigan is a skilled professional able to build a wide array of things. He has a broad number of contacts in the field and hopes to make use of this to place himself in positions to observe shady places that need ‘work’. If he spent more time focussing on his career he could make a good living.
Tremor sense (2- senses): Granite is unusually sensitive to vibrations in the earth, possibly alerting him to hidden dangers or stealthy or invisible opponents. This power truly shines when The Granite is merged with a solid object, it is then his only means of discerning his surroundings and is heightened. Tremor sense is particularly adept at discerning footfalls.
Background and personality:
Hardigan is a construction worker. Or more aptly he’s a contractor. He frequently works with his old friend Dandon McGaven.
His powers originate from a series of experiments similar to those that created Mindfire but neither remeber the details clearly.
Hardigan feels that he must find proper uses for his talents, and he is uncomfortable with moral shades of grey.
Appearance:
Granite
(Adrakis campaign)
Aneesh
Group: Counter-insurgents (a place holder for the moment)
Orientation: hero
Role: versatile (should I be more specific?)
