Everdeen - A archer of the gizmo using persuasion Retribution - A former man of the cloth, experimented on, fast healing and streetsmart The Summoner - a hero able to summon spirits and bend them to his will Detailed write-ups on each character to follow.
Issue 1 (The First Session) The heroes stumbled across a mugging while on patrol and put a stop to it. They make sure the two young Ladies are fine, duct tape up the three asailants and depart before the police arrive.
Retribution uses his drug dealer contact to help him obtain some license plates for the groups wood paneled station wagon.
Silverman Jewelry store is robbed using strange floating robotic devices and the Heroes decide to investigate. The Summoner talks to a Chaos spirit named Maldalor at the Crime scene.
Eventually, Everdeen spots a grey cargo van, and a mid-to-late twenties goateed man casing another Jewelry store. The van leaves, and Everdeen returns with the rest of the heroes to stake out the place.
Everdeen, from a nearby rooftop sees the van return. Just as Maldalor appears to the Summoner, wondering what he is doing there.
A combat with remote controlled robotic claws, lasers, and a speaker continuously emitting epitaphs ensues. Eventually the doors to the van are pulled open and a man sized robot emerges, "Peter" is hidden behind it at the floating robots controls.
The Heroes make relatively quick work of the Robot, once they are finally all in the alley behind the store. Peter flees after being shocked by the Summoner, and is caught by Everdeen. He immediately surrenders.

Josh -- I have thought about it and am going to rename my character. Can you update the name of my character from Retribution to Fallen Angel. Makes more sense. I'm not really mad, but more trying to find my way right now...

I'm not really mad, but more trying to find my way right now... Done. I do like both names. I've actually had another player at a con go by "Fallen Angel." (A lot more folks have had "Shadow" in their superhero name.) Sometimes it can be toughto come up with a name that really resonates.

Chalice City Issue 2
The Summoner has been hearing about the rapid expansion of an occult group named the Eight Triangles. When he meets a young lady Chantal working at the Crooked Star bookstore, who wears the sigil of the Eight Triangles, he gets himself invited to an event that evening. The meeting is at a rooftop garden which has recently been constructed atop what was once a small auto-parts manufacturing plant. The Summoner is introduced to 6 other members of the Eight Triangles, including Steve, Allan and Alice. Solomon Crowley (The Summoner) is immediately intrigued that the rooftop garden seems to be swarming with spirits of all kinds. Meanwhile Ishido Nakamura, in his guise as Frostbite, has learned that his friend and erstwhile lover, Alice, has fallen in with a fringe group of occultists. Concerned for her safety (fearing some sort of Satanic Suicide cult) he has followed her to discover just what she has gotten herself into. Only the briefest conversation occurs between Solomon and the gathering of Eight Triangles before 3 unwelcome gentlemen burst onto the rooftop, knock Allan and Steve aside like dolls, and demand the surrender of the “Loci.” The Summoner perceives that the three men seem to have spirits grafted into them as a form of possession.
The Summoner immediately challenges these newcomers, and when violence ensues, Frostbite lends him aid in the form of freezing ice and hammers, waves and pillars of water. The spirits on the rooftop eagerly respond to The Summoner’s call. Eventually the possessed careless strength is overcome, without any more or the Eight Triangles being injured.
The possessing spirits reveal that they were there to obtain some of the power of the Loci for their ‘master.’ The Summoner banishes the possessing spirits, Frostbite and he interrogate the three men. Two of them (Gregory and Daniel) are construction workers who were working on the restoration of a Victorian house at 27 Orchard View, Amherst (a ruralburb of Chalice City). The last thing they remember is entering the basement of said house.
Alexander reveals that he remembers much of what transpired during the possession, “Like it was a bad dream.” He admits that he went with a small group of occultists to visit the House of Bolchavar. They performed a seance of a sort, attempting to contact the long-dead Magus and somehow unleashed a strange and potent spirit. When pressed further Alexander confesses, “I just went along with the whole thing cause there was this girl, Tammy, who I really liked. She was really into all this occult stuff.”
The Heroes converse with the Eight Triangles and ascertain that the leader of the Eight Triangles is currently in Minnesota. Chantal agrees to look to see if she can find any reference to Bolchavar at the Crooked Star bookstore, and the rest of the Eight Triangles agree to stay away from the rooftop garden for a while. Alice departs without saying anything to Ishido Nakamura (Frostbite).
Alexander begs not to be left ‘unprotected’ and eventually Solomon Crowley agrees to take him and Frostbite back to his uncles mansion.
The Summoner meditates and consults Bhaal while Frostbite relaxes and watches Alexander. Bhaal expresses great concern over the name Bolchavar, and irges caution, admitting that Solomon’s uncle had dealt with a few remnants of his magic in and around Chalice city before. Alexander awakens from a nightmare, and reveals the existence and approach of “Andulates” or Siphon Spirits.
The heroes rush to prepare . . .

Chalice City Issue 3
House of Bolchavar part 2
Note the events of this issue occur Concurrently with those in Issue 2
Fallen Angel decides at Father Michael's urging to spend some time at a spiritual retreat run by an old aquaintence, brother Carlos, in the nearby forested hills.
Meanwhile Everdeen, (William Briars) hears rumours of a strange beast rooaming the woods around his isolated cabin. When he discovers strange tracks, he decides to follow them. It leads him to a ritually killed wolverine, in the ravine behind brother Carlos' retreat.
When Samuel arrives at Carlos' retreat, he discovers the cabin door broken open, several broken windows and the interior in shambles and splattered with blood. In the centre of the room is a women who appears to be mauled and ritually murdered. Samuel calls the authorities, and is shortly hailed by William. The two heroes quickly discuss the appalling situation.
When the Sheriff Patricks arrives he questions the men closely, calls in the coroner, and tells them about a Fitzgerald in the area who lost his donkey and claimed to hear strange noises. He asks them to remain in the area in case the police have further questions.
The two heroes decide to speak with Mr. Fitzgerald, who approaches them with gun in hand. He tells them about the donkey being killed horribly, and relates that he heard a strange howling that night. He seems pretty spooked.
Next the heroes decided to follow the trail that lead William to Carlos' cabin in the first place. The tracks generally follow the ravine which wander's from Carlos' to William's to the Fitzgerald's and beyond. Soon it leads the heroes to an abandoned shed or barn with the beasts tracks thick around it. As they circle the edifice, a monstrous amalgama of man and beast burst out, blood still in it's jaws.
Battle ensues, with the monsters jaws taking a heavy toll on Everdeen in particular. Still outnumbered and injured, the beast soon flees. As it does so a hurled rock from Fallen Angel nocks the beast into a ravine. When the two search the area, they find no sign of the creature.
Entering the barn, the heroes find Carlos, bloody and battered, with the start of ritual glyphs around his body. He is only half intelligeable. He asks what happened and where Daina is. He mentions that she came up to get away from her past -- an occult past.
Samuel carries Carlos back to Everdeen's where they drive the seriously injured man to a hospital in Chalice City. They call the sheriff and Samuel calls Father Michael's who agrees to come see them with his notes from Daina's councelling sessions. The heroes get checked out by the hospital staff. Sheriff Patricks harangues them for their continued involvement, but congratulates them on finding their friend. Father Michael uncovers a likely meeting place of the so called Nine Triangles, the occult group that Daina was a part of: Amherst United Church (or what used to be Amherst United).
The heroes decide to wait till the next day to head to the Amherst (a ruarlburb of Chalice City). William sleeps poorly, memories of his dead wife troubling him.
Everdeen and Fallen Angel drive out to Amherst, find the parking lot of the church vacant and try the doors. After trying the entrance to the lower level rather vigorously, Fallen Angel decides that they should speak to the attendant (Fred) at the nearby convenience store/gas station.
Fred says, "You don't seem the type." When they ask about the church. He tells them that the cult often seems to meet on Thursdays. After Samuel tells him a story about trying to get his friend out of the cult, Fred agrees to give the two a call if they seem to be having a meeting.
The heroes return to the rear door to the lower level. Fallen Angel tears it off its hinges and they enter the community hall beneath the church, which has been transformed into an occult sanctuary. They find an unconscious man in a circle of salt, in what was once the kitchen.
Fallen Angel attempts to wake him, the man immediately transforms into the fearsome Wendigo. A woman and a man with whites for eyes come pounding down the stairs, one shouts about them disturbing the chosen one, the Wendigo. Battle is joined.
The woman and man fight with the strength of the possessed. Everdeen hits them both with a "splitting" arrow, and they engage him. Meanwhile Fallen Angel and the Wendigo throw each other around the room, both take a pounding, but this time Wendigo is unable to affect Fallen Angel with his bleeding bite. As the battle progresses Everdeen drops a smoke grenade in order to get some distance from his assailants. Fallen Angel succeeds in throwing the Wendigo into the possessed woman.
Fallen Angel engages Wendigo and the possessed woman. Everdeen dodged in and out of the smoke screen while the possessed man pursues him. Eventually, he wraps Everdeen in a vicious bear hug. Squirming Everdeen pulls a concusive arrow from his quiver, the blast blows them apart and the man does not rise.
Fallen Angel, falls uncious, unable to remaining fighting after expending so much strain. Everdeen seeks to hide from the two remaining assailants. Wendigo's keen hearing zero's in on Everdeen's location, as he charges but an arrow lays him low. Now aware of his location, the possessed woman rushes towards him. Everdeen, bruised battered and barely able to stand raises his bow one more time. His arrow strikes true, and the womans body collapses on top of him.
